Questions: 1)What do you believe stress is and how does it affect young people?
Stress is different for everyone. I believe stress is getting so worried about something that you cant concentrate on anything else until you sort it out. Sometimes it can result in you getting angry and snapping at people for no reason. It can affect young people in many ways, one of the most common causes being schoolwork and exams. Questions: 1)What was the most omportant thing you learnt about stress?
One of the most important things I've learn't about stress is that is that as stresses in our life build up, we become less and less able to deal with any of them effectively. This means that it's important we make sure to deal with stress as soon as we know about it so that it doesn't get to much to handle.
2)What will you next time you feel a lot of stress?
Next time I feel a lot of stress I need to make sure I talk to someone, preferably an adult I trust. This could be a parent, brother or sister, teacher, friend's parent, or other family member.
3)What is a situation that causes you stress and what are the signs that it stresses you?
A situation that causes me stress is if I have something big to go to the next day and worry that I will forget something important or vital. I know I'm stressing about it when no matter how hard I try I can't stop worrying about it and it stops me from getting to sleep.
4)What strategies do you think would work you relieve a stressful situation for you?
Something to help e relieve a stressful situation would be to read or listen to my iPod to take my mind off it.
5)Make a list of the adults that you trust and could talk to about anything that my stress you.
Some people I could talk to about stress are:
-Mum
-Dad
- sisters
- brothers
-My friends
